CST 605 Operating Systems Credits: 3
This course covers concepts in operating systems analysis and design. General topics of process, resource and file management are presented and analyzed against different system architecture and performance constraints. Topics include software I/O, concurrent processes, mutual exclusion, synchronization and deadlock, processor scheduling, memory management, and resource control.
